I don't know where time went but on July 12 our little man turned ONE. It was such a great day for him, he had the whole week to be spoiled and pampered. We really did not do a big birthday celebration for him because at this time he really can't understand the meaning of having a birthday party. I bought cupcake for his playmates at the daycare. And we had few family over on Saturday to sing him happy birthday.
I'm glad we did have a big party because he caught a stomach virus and was down that whole weekend. He did not have a good appetite and his playing activities went down too.
Last Sunday and monday after several episodes of non stop crying and throwing up we rushed him to the ER. We really did not know how to make him feel better. We had to give pedialyte and a little bit of purée food, solid was out of the question. It really sucks that my son was sick for his first birthday. But I'm happy he is feeling a lot better now and is back to his normal self.
A year later I could not have asked for a better son and wonderful, caring and supportive husband. I'm so blessed for my family.
