17 months!!!

On 12/12/12 our baby boy turned 17 months. He is doing so well at this age and we are so blessed to his progress. He says few words and really starts to understand when we speak to him. Every now and then he gets sick but it's because of the day care. He is up to date on the shots. He is eating well. He is very active and right now basketball and his favorite sports.
We are so grateful and thankful every day for having our son.

His first hair cut!!!

We have decided to give Ayden a hair cut this weekend at 16 months. Lately it has become so difficult to do his hair and besides he sheds a lot of tears just to get his hair braided. The plan was to wait until he turns two but it just was not going to happen.
It was battle for big boy to stay still at the chair he kept telling the barber NO over and over. I felt really guilty when I see him calling out and reaching for me to save him. Thank God daddy was there also to keep him in check. I am glad it's all over although his Mohawk could have been a little lower.

The aftermath of the hurricane

We have survived the storm of 2012 although we have flooding and trees are down, but we are lucky to see another day. Everything comes to a complete stop even though New York is a city that never sleeps. It's incredible as we are facing the aftermath of the hurricane. Plenty of people are without power and hospital have to evacuate. All five boroughs are severely affected by sandy. Lots of damages across the border. We have to continue to be strong and be thankful for our lives.
