Yankees are world Champ.....

The New York Yankees are the world Champion. After nearly 9 years without a championship they are back on the podium holding the trophy. It's the best feeling ever when you have confident in your teammates to help you win the series. Throughout the season they worked and played hard like a team; everyone came together and set a goal  to win the championship in the new Yankees Stadium. It was a great effort in everybody's part. The mission has been accomplished and now we are waiting for the parade which will be held on Friday 11/6 in NY city. I am so proud of my Yankees and many congrats to Hideki Matsui who is the MVP of the series, he has worked so hard and most of all during the post season, well deserved. Another thing about the Yankees anybody could have been the MVP of the series, that's how hard they work especially during the time when they need to win the most.

Here are some very important fact about the Yankees:

• The Yankees only used 3 postseason starting pitchers throughout the series mostly on a 3 or 4 day rest. CC Sabathia, A.J. Burnett and Andy Pettite. The last team to win the World Series using 3 postseason starters was in 1991 the Minnesota Twins
• They won 27 championships, the most in any American Sports. What an accomplishment.
• Joe Girardi joins Ralph Houk and Billy Martin as the only men to win World Series for the Yankees as a player and a manager.
• Mark Teixeira is the first American League RBI leader to win a World Series since Reggie Jackson of the 1973 A's, and the first Yankee to lead the AL in RBI and win a World Series since Roger Maris in 1961. Many congrats to Mark and his fellow Teammates.

Seriously the list goes on and on... They have the power to be best, the organization went out in search of great players who could help the Yankees win  and it paid off.

Lets Go YANKEES!!!! They're back!

Yes,  that's right my Yankees are going to the world Series.... After nearly 9 years out of the post season,  it feels so good to see all the men in pinstripe celebrating the beginning of a quest to win their 27th championship title. I believe this year is the year for the NEW YORK YANKEES to be the world Champion. This is our year and it does not matter what other people have to say about them.... We have a good Pitching team to name a few CC Sabathia, Andy Petitte, including our best closer in the league Mariano Rivera and don't forget about our sluggers Alex Rodriguez who is Mr. October, Derek Jeter the captain of the YANKEES, Robinson Canoe, Mark Teixeira and the list goes on and on...  This is what it's about in NEW YORK CITY, baseball in October, you just can't ask for more. Throughout of the 09 season the yankees have worked their butts off to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs and including the finals.  Having to be the best team with the best winning record in the league is really something special. Now, they have 4 or 6 more games to play to keep the celebration going. . I am proud of my Yankees and I can't wait for Wednesday for game 1 of the world Series to begin in the BRONX.... I can tell you right now, the 4, D and the B are going to be very crowded with fans all over New York...... So if you're going to the game make sure you leave extra early...
