doctor's appointment

So today I am going to leave work early to go see a doctor. Fingers crossed that everything will be okay. I will elaborate more after the doctor's visit.  The only thing I can say right now is that I have a rash on my neck that won't go away and my taste bud is gone.............

Happy Monday everyone and YES it's short work week WOO HOO!... I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It's been a while since I last did a post. Well this past weekend I visited Best Buy and I came across the Kinect for XBOX360. Yes i did and I was not going to let it go. Since the announcement was made over the summer by Microsoft Here  I knew I wanted to get my hands on one. Well I finally did and it's best thing ever.. I get so tired playing the Kinect Adventure since it's hands free device and because of the body sensor it allows you to move off the couch and on the floor, this is one piece of gaming system I would advise everyone to have in their household. It's a great way to work out without ever stepping in the gym. It's a family game and you will see your body get lighter as you continue to work with Kenict. I am so excited to say that i will buy the Dance Central video game...





Saturday night I found out my BFF for more 10 years just had a baby and he is 3 month old. I could not believe that i missed her whole pregnancy, we used to always talk about how we would rise our children together and have play dates and everything else comes along.  We have not been talking over the past 1 year and half. long story short she had lost my number and somehow we went our separate way. So within that break period she was getting ready to welcome her first Child into this world.  I visited them on Sunday and his name is Christopher Alexander, he is the most amazing little human being, full of smile and energy... I am so happy and proud of her and now we will put our differences aside just for this cute little boy. I have to make up for those 3 months that I  would miss and continue from there. I am excited because i have so much to buy and so much to share with them...  The lesson i learned from my friendship with her is that we should not be distant from each other and we should continue to keep our friendship to grow even stronger after all she is my BFF and i really did miss her... I will post some pictures of the baby when i get permission from her to post them.......

9 by Design

If Bravo is part your TV selection to watch then you should know the stars of the new reality show 9 By Design and what the show is all about. As a New Yorker, I really enjoy watching it, it's a very laid back show, to me it's very family oriented and i just love seeing husband and wife work as a team. It's good to see how the buildings get transform into something beautiful.  Here's a little bio of the show, the reason the show is called 9 By Design is because it's the two of them  plus 7 children. Wow that's a lot of children!!!!! yep having 7 kids and running a business in NYC can be overwhelming. However, the Novogratz manage to get it done.
When you see it's hard for Cortney and Bob Novogratz, developer-designers  to sell their  modern townhouse in Manhattan's West Village, you know  the economy has really gone down the hill even for them. The townhouse overlooking the Hudson River originally was listed for  $25 million last year and is now offered at $18.95 million. Darn it! that's a big cut. The townhouse is really a dream house but too bad i can't afford. Although it's not my price range, it just does hurt to talk about it.

As you all know by now that the month of October is the Breast Cancer Awareness month. Which means, it's the time for all female to stop and think about ways to prevent this disease from walking in there front doors. Always do the breast self exam, every month and for more information please go here . Now it's the time when you go to the store will notice lots of Pink items available to purchase. All the News networks will have some kind of segments about the Breast Cancer.  For the second year in a row The NFL has joined forces with the Breast Cancer Society to spread the word out on the field and on off the field. Throughout October, NFL games will feature players, coaches and referees wearing pink game apparel, on-field pink ribbon stencils, special game balls and pink coins - all to help raise awareness for this important campaign.

Happy Sunday Everyone!!!!!!! Here's what's all over the fashion blogs, and the websites, it's The Kardashian faceoff... Khloe vs Kim.... So everyone has been talking about the sisters rocking the same dress from their BeBe collection. I think neither one of them realized that one had gotten the dress and mistakenly wore it just days apart... Well I believe it's because the sisters have great taste for fashion and they are supporting their clothing line.. it's the way they market their brand, rememeber it's all about money not really as rivalry..... Lets face it Kim clearly won the battle....
