Upper West Side Welcomes the New Apple store

I am so thrilled for this new apple store that's making it's way to the Upper West Side of Manhattan today 11/14. it's about time to finally have another store in the City,,, i can't wait to go visit to see what it has to offer. With all things apple like the new I-phones, I-pods, I-touch and new laptops coming to the market every 6 months or so; its very crucial to have one close by and that's less crowded... did you hear? an entire floor is dedicated to personal training, technical support and youth programs. There's also free hands on program for the entire family like learning how to produce video, compose music and much more. There's something special for everyone.......
The other stores are always packed with people no matter what time of the day you go there. I have been thinking for sometimes now to replace  my I-pod and my laptop, since the store is closed by it will be cool to go in and walk out with a new laptop.... I am so excited..... Since the holiday is right around the corner  the new apple store is the greatest addition to your shopping list mainly because it's just a few stops away on the train......

Not so great Friday the 13th

Happy Friday the 13th Everyone! It's a very gloomy day today, it's so windy out there  and all the leaves, trash, dust are coming off the ground in full speed. It's  so dark and we are getting the effect of the hurricane Ida. The weather makes everyone looking very depressing.... I can't wait for Sunday, I checked the weather and it's going to be a beautiful day... I am so excited!.............. Rockettes here we come.....

Christmas Spectacular at Radio City in NYC...........

This Sunday 11/15  Michael and I are going to see the Rockettes at Radio City in NYC. How  exciting! it's a dream come true because I have always wanted to go. I purchased the tickets at a special price and I could not have been more happier. What a great way to ushering in the holiday season! I am hoping it will be a great experience for Michael and I, it's our first time going to see a show at Radio City besides when we go watch the Christmas Tree Lighting presented by the Today Show. I know how easily it could be very hectic when traveling downtown during the weekend, so I've already made plan to leave extra early so that I will not get caught in traffic. I have no idea what I am going to wear yet but i am hoping it will something simple but elegant and hopefully it will be gorgeous day for a Sunday night out.

Yankees are world Champ.....

The New York Yankees are the world Champion. After nearly 9 years without a championship they are back on the podium holding the trophy. It's the best feeling ever when you have confident in your teammates to help you win the series. Throughout the season they worked and played hard like a team; everyone came together and set a goal  to win the championship in the new Yankees Stadium. It was a great effort in everybody's part. The mission has been accomplished and now we are waiting for the parade which will be held on Friday 11/6 in NY city. I am so proud of my Yankees and many congrats to Hideki Matsui who is the MVP of the series, he has worked so hard and most of all during the post season, well deserved. Another thing about the Yankees anybody could have been the MVP of the series, that's how hard they work especially during the time when they need to win the most.

Here are some very important fact about the Yankees:

• The Yankees only used 3 postseason starting pitchers throughout the series mostly on a 3 or 4 day rest. CC Sabathia, A.J. Burnett and Andy Pettite. The last team to win the World Series using 3 postseason starters was in 1991 the Minnesota Twins
• They won 27 championships, the most in any American Sports. What an accomplishment.
• Joe Girardi joins Ralph Houk and Billy Martin as the only men to win World Series for the Yankees as a player and a manager.
• Mark Teixeira is the first American League RBI leader to win a World Series since Reggie Jackson of the 1973 A's, and the first Yankee to lead the AL in RBI and win a World Series since Roger Maris in 1961. Many congrats to Mark and his fellow Teammates.

Seriously the list goes on and on... They have the power to be best, the organization went out in search of great players who could help the Yankees win  and it paid off.

November is Prematurity Awareness!!!!!!

November is Prematurity Awareness Month and I am proud to say I know several babies who were born prematurely. My nephew and his twin sister were born prematurely, as members of the family we were devasted  to find out how small and  sick they were and as result, one of the twin was in the hospital for 9 months and due to complication she did not make it past 9 months. For 9 months we were in and out of the hospital and it was very difficult for my brother and his wife to cope with the situation of loosing their precious little angel. The doctors did all they could and since her lungs was not fully developped it would have a miracle for her make it.  2 years later we are still struggling with the fact of not having her in our lives. My nephew is a healthy 2year old who loves to watch Nogging, and jump around, he is so active sometimes it's hard to keep with him.
13 Million babies are born prematurely each year worlwide, it is very important for the doctors, the parents, me and you to help prevent premature birth. By creating a wrist band you could help stop babies from being born too soon. Help celebrate the life a of baby or honor your own when you create a band. ING MARATHON in NYC

As you all know sunday 11/01 was the 40th annual ING MARATHON in New York City. This means part of the streets, the bridges, the tunnels across the 5 boroughs were closed for the occasion. The marathon attracts not only the professionals but for everyone in general, and it showed throughout the race to the last person running across the finish line in Central Park.  Many celebrities have ran the marathon in the past including P.DIDDY, KATIE HOLMES and the lists goes on and on. Thousands of spectators lined up in every corners of the streets to cheer on the runners. It's a big events for everyone who participated in the marathon. People have different reason for participate in the marathon, some are running for their parents, for their friends/family members who lost battle with cancer, for boyfriends/girlfriends who died in the war in Iraq,  some are running to help the community. It's a dream come true for others to have finally reached their goals. There are so many inspirational stories to why people are there running. It's incredible to see the smile on all of these faces as they cross the Brooklyn bridge

I give these people a lot of credit for running 26.2 miles in the 5 boroughs of NYC..

It's all about having fun while running.

Congrats to all who ran the marathon on Sunday!

Gap is proud to announce the debut of Stella McCartney for GapKids and babyGap.
Stella McCartney creates a collection for boys and girls from 0-6 months to 12 years. I can't wait to go see the collection, I have so much to buy for nephews and nieces. I think it's a great adjustment for GAP and I am very optomistic the collection will do very well. My nephew will have a gift basket for Christmast from BabyGap from the collection. I am so excited... The collection will be carried in select GapKids and babyGap stores in the United States and Canada, the UK, France and Ireland, and Japan, as well as online in the US.

Welcome GateWay Center in the Bronx!

I am so excited to say that I no longer envy anyone who lives  near a wholesale retail club, like BJ'S or Cost-Co. Finally people in NYC including me are happy to welcome retail wholesale club stores in our neighborhood. You all know how NYC is so congested with lots of tall building and yellow cabs, as a result we always have to travel to other county or other boroughs when doing food shopping in bulk. Well now we have wholesale club retail stores and many other stores to keep us in the City. Not too long ago a new mall has opened right by Yankees Stadium in the Bronx and it's called the GateWay Center. Althought the Mall is in the Bronx, it's only 5 minutes away from Harlem and the City.  I could tell you right now, the Bronx has changed and it's about time to finally have something going on all year around in the borough besides the YANKEES. This new mall is the best thing ever, the place is gigantic, stores everywhere and many more to come. I took some pictures of the stores that I frequent whenever i go there, The center is so big I really couldn't go around everywhere to take pictures...

These are some of the stores that are making their way in the mall. 

 They make all the parents and all the children in the Bronx happy again.. It's Christmas everyday in the BRONX..

 What I can i say about BJ'S. This store is everything I was looking for. They use any manufacturing coupons and they provide additional coupons too.

Target is on my top 10 shopping store.. I really like this place also i could use the store coupons and manufacture coupons and that's a great plus... Je t'aime Target.......

  I go crazy for everything that I can buy and  use in my home since their coupons never expired.. I really enjoy shopping there.
